I'm using an M7. The first part of my update to 4.4.2 took out my WiFi completely, and it started to reboot at will. ATT just wanted to sell me an upgrade. HTC actually took the phone and fixed it at no charge. Phone works great again. I"m on 4.3 now and not sure I want to try another update...

Well, I ended up sending my M7 off to HTC. It was gone for 2.5 weeks (borrowed an old iphone in the meantime - not a fan of iphones), but they did not charge me anything. It is now running on 4.3, and I'm not sure if I want to update it to 4.4.2 as that is when the problems started.

Thanks for the advice, but I already tried clearing the cache, recovery, factory reset from settings and factory reset from the boot menu. I agree - I hate sending it off, but I'm a little stuck at this point. I have never unlocked a phone or used a third party ROM, but I was setting everything...
