I have an icon on the top bar that looks like a refresh signal that constantly stays there throughout the day. I believe it is bogging my battery life down. Does anyone know why it's like this and how I can stop it? Thanks!

My husband and I have the optimus s. I got the update notification this morning. His phone still has not notified him. When checking for the software upgrade manually, it says his current version of 2.2.1 is up to date. Is there a way to manually push the update?

Well the issue is hopefully solved. I received an email from the person who bought my old blackberry. Apparently, my emails were still being delivered to that phone even though I wiped the phone clean. A phone call to sprint hopefully solved this problem. :)

I am using the stock email and gmail app. I have changed the settings in the gmail app (because I can't delete it) so that I do not receive duplicate notifications when I receive a new email.

I apologize in advance for my lack of technical terms, I'm new to this. My phone now says "This phone belongs to: ..." after I downloaded the AVG antivirus app. Does anyone know how to change this or how to add my name? Thank you in advance!!
