So I called customer service and after hours of talking, they sent me a new phone to replace. Problem is the new replacement phone doesn't have a back cover. If i return my defective phone without the back cover, will they charge me?

The workers at Verizon told me I didn't buy insurance for my phone. Am I still able to send it in to be fixed?

They told me it was a hardware problem and they can't do anything to fix it. The only thing I can do is to buy a new phone, which I don't have the money for :'(
