    Appreciate the update. I've gone ahead with a full OS wipe and flashed a stock 5.1.1 rom which fixed the issue.Then updated recovery back to TWRP and flashed an un-rooted CM12.1 rom. Still fully functional. I'm planning on flashing a Samsung based, pre-rooted rom again but probably won't do it...

    Thought I'd jump back on here to let you know that what you're experiencing is happening to me as well, Tinfoilhatguy. Your symptoms are exactly as I'm seeing so I'd say that disabling this has caused it. It's made my phone way more functional than it was when the error first started popping up...

    I wasn't able to do it just from the on board Application Manager. I downloaded "Package Disabler Pro (Sumsung)" from the Play Store and used it to disable the service. My Note 4 is rooted but the developer claims that root is not necessary to use the app.

    tinfoilhatguy, Set up and account on here to say thanks. I'm not saying it's the "right" way to fix it, but as it seems I still have full functionality without it, I too disabled the NetworkSystemProvided service and...Ta Da!...no more pop ups. My hope is that Sprint figures out what went wrong...
