I absolutely love the Orchid Gray. I've been hesitant to buy a Samsung phone for years since the skins slow down the updates so much, but I saw the S8 in person and was completely blown away by how gorgeous it is.

I agree. I generally prefer the Galaxy method of buttons. Physical home button with two capacitive buttons on either side.

Android Pay isn't supported. At least not on my phone. I can't even properly open the app.

I got the threads mixed up too, but my 6P is running the NPC91K build that I got yesterday. I can't change my emoji skin tones though. I can see ones that are set to a new tone, but I can't actually change them myself. The battery life has also been pretty bad, but I'm gonna try to wait a while...

I want to be sure that I'm on the most recent update. I did get an OTA update yesterday, but the battery life is awful and has basically made the phone unusable. This is actually the first update I've received, so I'm suspecting that I'm actually not on the April update. I can see the new style...

My one criticism of Android Pay is that you don't have to authorize anything when the payment is made as long as the phone is unlocked. That doesn't really make sense, but I still think it's fairly safe. I've always gotten it to work by tapping the camera bar on the receiver.

My vote is for Sony. I love what Huawei did with the Nexus, so I wouldn't be mad if they made a second one. HTC did a great job with the Nexus One, but I'm not confident in their ability to make a good camera these days, so I'd have to see a lot of improvement.

That could totally be it. I'm probably gonna investigate what the warranty covers. I didn't get Nexus Protect because I'm generally extremely protective of my electronics and have never needed any warranty service before. It seems more like a production issue to me.

I can't remember ever dropping it on a hard surface. I will usually toss it on my bed when I get home, but that's about it as far as it having to fall. Maybe I'm forgetting something. I considered the case being too snug as an option, but that just seems really unlikely.

I preordered my 6P on day one and I've been mostly happy with it since. I keep it in a fairly protective case at all times, and I also have a tempered glass screen cover on it. However, I recently removed the case to wipe it down, and a tiny piece of glass from the corner of the front display...

HD Widgets with the Kairo Pack app. I haven't used any other widget since I got this one.

re: This initially wasn't working for me, but I had to change the APN from ATT Nextgenphone to ATT Phone. I remember having to change the APN when I first got the phone. This may be the solution for those of you with devices that still won't get LTE.

I'd love to try out the 5X. My original Nexus 5 remains one of the best Android phones ever.
