Do Bluetooth and location have to be on all the time?

In general I'd say Wear OS isn't as responsive as Apple Watch or as your phone. And all Wear OS watches are using basically the same processor and RAM, so you don't have the option to buy a faster watch. I definitely experience slowness at times. But again, it depends on how you want to use...

Do Bluetooth and location have to be on all the time?

It all depends on what you want out of your watch. If you turn off Bluetooth then your watch isn't connected to your phone, which means no notifications, no data connection, etc. It will still tell time and track your steps, but I most of the functionality will be neutered. Turning off...

    Is it the battery? Or??

I don't know for sure. But I might try a factory reset.

    How to add a smartwatch?

I agree with B.Diddy. One note: Swipe typing is much better than tap typing. But still, if I need to type more than 1 or 2 short words then I'm going to pull out my phone.

I assume that you are letting them know that it didn't work?

After update the 4th Gen. Q Explorer is not reacting any more

I would say try a factory reset, but I don't know how to do that if you can't get to the settings.

What app do you use for custom faces?

I used to use Facer. It was pretty good. But recently I've just been using the built in faces.

    Q Venture

There's just the one main button, right? I'm 99% sure you can't change what the main button does. You can only change secondary buttons.

Spotify takes over my entire screen

Oh wow. I don't know. Seems like a bug. I'm out of ideas.

    Q Explorist

Yeah. Not sure if that setting changes the dimmed brightness or just the screen-on brightness.

    Q Explorist

I believe the default settings is auto brightness, so it should automatically adjust the brightness based on the ambient lighting. But if you go to the display settings you can change from auto to brightness levels 1 through 5.

    Bluetooth

Bluetooth range is hard to quantify. Depends on stuff like walls, furniture, especially metal stuff, and on interference from other electronic signals. It's also hard for me to estimate because if the phone is out of Bluetooth range I still get my notifications through WiFi. All that being said...

New to the Fossil Q club

Yeah. That's exactly what they did. They Incorporated the light sensor into a black bezel instead of a flat tire. Sure I'd prefer neither, but the bezel is a MUCH better solution than the flat tire, in my opinion. Just for perspective, the full diameter of the face is about 39mm. The black...

Fossil Q Founder - Google Music

I don't know for sure. But I'm wondering if that could be related. See what comes up in a Google search about using AW with an iPhone. (Unfortunately I don't have time to look it up right away)
