MMS works on the ROMs based on the stock virgin rom, just not CM7 or gingerbread

Now that there seems to be more movement on development for the V, any dev's willing to take this on? There is a method over in the S forum but it does not seem to work on the V. Could have something to do with the differences in ramdisk between the two phones? Any takers on this challenge...

This thread is not about how to remove system apps. It is how to successfully move Maps and YouTube and a couple other redownloadable apps to the sd card as opposed to having them in the internal memory

I personally have a fear of CWM Recovery as it was a huge no-no on my old phone (HTC Eris) due to bricking issues and RA was the safest option. May do well on this device but I'll stick with RA which is known to work and be safe.
