"slam"? Brusque, at worst. Your post and TC's response was more rude than anything I said, lol. Sheesh. Have you been experiencing culture shock recently, venturing into less militantly moderated forums or what?
Well if you're that sensitive no wonder you don't like posting on forums... anyways most the time someone has already asked any given question you wish to ask; my advice is to become a proficient googler... Then you won't be a "noob" or get flamed for asking for information that's readily...
WebOS has waaaay more annoying quirks than android... But whatever. It's simpler for ignorant people I suppose. That's not me being an ass, that's the truth. Though once everything gets sorted for CM9 even that won't really be true.
Meh. ICS is just way better all around. The only thing WebOS has going for it is the cards, and they are of limited utility. And who wants to run apps at "90%" speed anyways? After the ICS update it seems some of my apps are running at 150% speed.

It's rather difficult to brick the touchpad. i.e. you'd have to be extremely stupid or even more unlucky... There's always webOS doctor to bring the device back from death's door...
*facepalm*
...yeah, on the boot screen you use the volume buttons to make selections. I'd just install ICS again. Or maybe run acmeuninstaller and install it from scratch.
