Re: do you need data service for the urbane-lte? You don't need a data plan with this watch, but need to put it to airplane mode and then turn on bluetooth. Else the battery doesn't last long at all, because it is constantly searching for signal. I just use it to link to my phone.

The Urbane-LTE is a touchscreen watch running on a version of WebOS.
