I'd agree with menno that there is not enough info out to suggest this is going to happen as soon as the 29th. I'd say just wait for the Droid 2 to come out and get it then, I really don't see tiered plans beginning in the next few days. Maybe early Nov. with LTE...

I'm on a mac and was looking to unroot my droid and reroot it (got it already rooted and wanted to do the whole process myself) but pretty much found out unless you're running bootcamp or something similar and windows on your mac, you need a PC. Kinda sucks, but seems to be the case... at least...
