Got 4.4.2 yesterday and the SMS to 9216 started :( Then I found out that the genereic email client would not show live links no more. Major bummer. So I installed Aquamail for now and uninstalled Visual voice mail ( Fido app) seems to have solved the SMS sending. I'll be calling Fido tomorrow...

Same thing just happened to me yesterday, upgrade on my Moto X to Kitkat 4.4.2 then the live links on the email app would not be "live" no more and the SMS to 9216 started. Had to install another email multi client ( Aquamail) to get the links live again. I just uninstalled the VMP from Fido...
