GPS didn't cause the bootloop. It was caused by a well documented hardware defect in the 5X. Just do a Google search and you will find lots of articles on it.

It has never worked consistently on my device. I've seen many posts from others describing the same issue. Consider yourself lucky it ever worked consistently at all!

No more official updates, but there is an active developer community for this device at XDA. I'm running 7.1.1 with the March security update on my N7. It's great!

I would certainly recommend it. If for no other reason, you'll get the latest (as of the last official update for the N7) security updates. Note that Google has stopped official updates for the N7 2013. However, there remains active development for this device over at XDA.

Right. What I meant was that I am seeing the LTE+ symbol now as a result of flashing a custom ROM.

I'm actually now thinking this is a result of flashing a new ROM rather than a change in T-Mobile service.

It's popped up again and I just ran a speed test on fast.com. Normally, I get fairly dismal service in my office, but this time I clocked in at 4.1Mbps. That seems a definite improvement.

Whoa. I noticed that too yesterday (in Seattle). I had just flashed PureNexus though and figured it was something ROM-specific. Are you running stock?

I seem to be experiencing this on T-Mobile as well. I sent a text from my wife's iPhone to both my Google voice number and my T-Mobile number, and the image received by the Google voice number was significantly larger than the T-Mobile one. Is something happening at the carrier level? Update...

In general, the camera is pretty zippy for me, but there are times when it can bog down. I think it just depends on what you're doing at any given time when you activate the camera. Regardless though, it is very likely a software issue that Google will address in time. Posted via the Android...

Ditto! I am using a T-Mobile supplied wifi router too, so I suspect it's not a router issue. Posted via the Android Central App

BingeOn can be disabled under the "profile" menu through My T-Mobile. I believe it's under the media settings/options submenu. Posted via the Android Central App
