I was thrilled to get the update as well. Hate the loss of f-print only as security. Love that it turns off unused apps. My battery is at 88%. In battery info, it says I have 44 hours remaining. Is this possible? If so I'll keep it forever!

I'm surprised there are no gurus to help you. You don't have to both be on line. If you set remotely to lock screen, the next time the thief turns it on, it will sound an alarm & will not start. Perhaps both need to be on line to see exactly where it is. Not sure on that.

Are you saving to external SD card? I got this message until I went back to saving to device. However, on my unit this problem went away with one of the updates.

They are pretty good about following up after the repair. They may offend by saying you abused it, but at least they fix it in a timely manner.

Got my Tab S8.4 when it was first released. This is my first tablet and I had it for over a month before I had occasion to use earphones. As soon as I plugged them in I knew there was a problem. Left channel would only work if I rotated the plug to an exact spot. Any movement, and it would die...

I had this issue. I had my S8.4 set so all downloads go to the SD card. Then the "Settings Stopped" appeared. As soon as I changed it to downloads going to internal drive, this notice was gone.

Sure, I get an internet connection at hotels, but it still shows the time from home rather than where I am. I do not see anything in Date & Time settings about auto time zone change.

New Tab S owner here. Took a vacation in Switzerland. All the IPad owners said their clocks automatically adjusted to the 6 hour time change. My Tab S still showed N.Y. time. Sure, I can see the time after searching in Global Settings, but this does not help when setting wake up alarms. Is there...
