I hope there is... But, why does the wide angled selfie camera give no lagg and the normal selfie camera does in the same light condition? As far as I can tell, there is no image quality difference...

Is there way to (root) set the SLOWEST shutter speed for the S8 camera? When taking pictures in low light the camera 'laggs' because it uses a slow shutter speed to get more light into the camera. I don't want my phone to do that so is there a way around? I know you can change the shutter...

Thank you for all your replies. I have found the problem with the camera lagg. Apperently its the device slowing down the shutter speed to get more light into the camera to brighten up the image. This causes the preview to be laggy because the shutter speed will be slower. You can test that by...

Thank you for doing the effort! But unfortunately its not, I'm talking about once the app is opened. When you move around your phone how it shows on the screen. Mine is laggy (especially in low light) on the camera app and snapchat. But not on Facebook camera for one weird reason...

Thats weird, could you capture your phone and show me what the back on front cam look like in the standard camera app or Snapchat? Then I can check if mine looks the same.

Maybe you understood me wrong. What I mean with camera preview is the screen you see before taking a picture. Just when you open the camera app and start aiming your camera at your target. THAT screen is really slow FPS for me (not in facebook camera app).

I tried that but your keyboard still shows the standard samsung emojis, so you also have to switch out the keyboard I guess. Maybe I'll do a root and switch out the icons for emoji.
