Just got it in Thailand.

I use the S-Pen for everything. It's a lot easier than using my finger.

Unless it changed with Android 12, on Android 11 and earlier with the S-Pen removed and the screen off, the phone detects movement to display the message. It doesn't determine distance away from the S-Pen. So when I test it, I remove the S-Pen, turn the screen off and wave the the phone 10 to 15...

It's not working on Android 12 for me either. It was working on android 11.

Instead of S22 Ultra, they should have named it S22 Note. Then there wouldn't be so much talk about the Note being dead. They just merged the S series with the Note series.

Same with me. I use the S-Pen for everything. I rarely use my finger. No case for me, or a fold either.
