    I seem to be having the same issue with my Verizon Note 9. My 5gHz band will drop out & then connect back on. My 2.4 gHz doesn't drop out.

    It will be several years before you see 5G in rural area's or you may never see it in rural areas because of the very short range of 5G.

    My Note 5 Signal strength is OK. The LTE Signal will not travel as far as a 3G Signal or penetrate a building as good as 3G.
