    Have the same issue. First the range problem. Bluetooth would lose connectivity if beyond a foot or two. After the security update, the bluetooth cannot connect to any device at all. Really very frustrated about this. Thinking of having the unit replaced.

    Had my SG Note 5 for three months and the BT started having range problems a couple of weeks ago. Trying to find solutions online as well. Did all the removing of paired devices and clearing BT data/cache, but still having the same problems. Hoping for a firmware fix soon.
