It was sealed in the box and had all the stuff with it. It looked pretty new, so i'm going to assume it was new. Besides, the phone is so new, how could they possibly have any refurbs yet. I hope you get a new one.

I broke mine the first week it came out, it was pretty bad. I also put a claim through on Asurion, and it was on backorder as well. I finally got it on Friday. It doesn't appear to be a refurb, is there a way i can tell?

The glass is fine, it's the AMOLED display that's under the glass that broke.

There's really nothing anyone can do. Today's cell phones are so fragile because of what we except from manufacturers. We want thinner lighter phones. It doesn't matter if you have a case or not, **** happens. Oh well.

Basically yes, you can see the damage under the glass.

I had it in an otterbox defender, I thought for sure it would have been fine. There's no external damage at all, obviously because of the otterbox, I'm not sure if the warranty angle will work.

My S5 took a hard and awkward fall yesterday, the LED (AMOLED screen under the glass) is destroyed, but the glass is completely fine. :( I have the device protection plan with Rogers, so i'm working on getting a replacement, i'm actually on hold with them right now.
