JD thanks, and yes, I agree about the tech support. However, both my other D2Gs auto-rotated even when the keyboard was closed. And this one did at first, but then stopped this morning. Same version of Froyo.

The D2G is $39.99 now at costco. At this point with all the issues I've had with mine, I wouldn't pay more than that. Certainly not $200! Plus costco has a 90 day return policy. I'm on my second D2G since Feb, and apparently this one is defective and needs to go back, too. Not happy, and missing...

Hi... My Droid 2 Global does the same thing. Haven't seen a solution yet. Just one in a long list of things that make me regret getting a Droid. :(
