I have the exact same problem. Cant boot to safe mode at all. It wont fully enter recovery mode even though it flashes RECOVERY MODE at the top in blue letters before it restarts. I can only get to download mode. For whats its worth mine is a SM-G900p There must be a way! To the gurus out...
