There not going to switch the chips in them.. The one v is 1GHz the 3-d is a 1.2 GHz.. They are releasing a LG phone too but really it has the same specs as the slider. It says 800 Mhz but its probably like the slider, a 600 Mhz overclocked cpu..

I have been using the ClockworkMod no root tether app, it works just fine. Only problem is after you use it for a while it limits your data unless you buy it.

HTC might release another phone to virgin too the HTC One V, with ICS on it..
