Well my mom picked one up a few days ago and I have to say software wise I don't like it. Status bar is too cluttered with settings and the s-voice is not the most user friendly plus I really don't like how they didn't use the ICS layout for the buttons you get a menu, home and a back button...

Yup defiantly ask for su permissions. AKOP milestone 5. In my opinion by Google asking for su in one of it's apps they are supporting root users, even though that is totally not the case but hey if push comes to shove ever I'll be bringing this up :-)
