The fix above worked for me too except when someone using an iPhone sends me a picture. We're both on AT&T. I'm Android and the other is Apple. Never figured that one out.

For me, I chose the GS4A for the physical buttons (menu, home, return) on the bottom front. Not for me as much as my wife. She had difficulty using the touch-only version of other smart phones. Hopefully, she will have spent enough time on one to become accustom to navigating a touch screen...

I'm going by the figures they threw out at today's unpack event. Judging by what I see and hear from those around me (non-technical non-geeks) they seem to love the GS3 and GS4. It's easy to navigate and gives them what they want. This seemed to be exactly what the head of Samsung was saying...

Unlike many people, I don't feel this was a complete failure on the part of Samsung. They sold 200 million of the S4. Samsung is sticking with a winner. I read where some people are complaining Samsung should have added more RAM, a faster processor, zero bezel, etc. All those will come. But...

I hate it when the search function breaks. :p Root for Galaxy S4 Active! (SGH-i537 ~ AT&T) Of course, this takes for granted you have NOT upgraded to 4.3.

I forgot to mention I am not rooted.

So far, it's working fine for me. The only "issue" is that Knox Security app. It may be something I have to live with.
