I found a fix! There seems to be a glitch with the messages linking to the bluetooth on my 2015 GMC Sierra. When I told it not to allow messages to sync with the vehicle the Bluetooth worked fine!!! I made this change 3 weeks ago and have had no issues with the Bluetooth since!
