No I mean literally could not tell if there was any extra heat at all. That's what was so shocking. Now the iPhone X overheated just doing nothing on my side.

Yes I have a clear otterbox commuter case. Heat was minimal at best. All in all I have been extremely impressed with it

Honestly when you have issues with a new device look at your backups to be the cause. Corruption in the file structure. Save all pertinent data and reset to factory. Then set it up as new. Fixes a lot of issues.

I hate to say this because I hate doing it myself. Try a factory reset if you haven't already. If that doesn't fix it then you may have a hardware issue causing it.

What apps have you downloaded show up in there? That is where u will most likely find ur battery hog. Facebook has had issue in the past where it updates creating battery drain and has to uninstalled and reinstalled to fix it.

Look in battery usage and click on android system go into optimize battery usage and see what is there. There is an app using it causing this much battery drain. I have seen that way too many times on android. One app running in the background causing android system to go crazy. Mine is only 1%...

Just make sure to go online and turn off the fancy visual voicemail. You have to go old school and call your own voicemail unlocked.
