The phone app is not coming up on the screen during the call. That makes me think it is a software problem.

I am having the same problem. Started after Nougat upgrade. Rebooting the phone makes it go away for a while. I'm using Fi. I suspect it is related.

I have a lot of money invested in my phone, car, and watch. Everything works flawlessly with any other phone. I've tried the cache clearing recommended on Google support site.

This is a daily battle for me, losing pairing with my car and watch. My Nexu5X and Nexus5 never had this problem. Going to contact Google tomorrow. Paid too much money for these devices not to have them communicate.

Like the metal body, finger print scanner, and of course, Project Fi.

Recieved my 5X quartz today. Now waiting on the sim card. Nobody at Fi support able to say why it is taking so long. Went into processing same day as phone but still not shipped. How many people have this phone and are unable to use it because Fi fullfillment is dsyfunctional?

My 5X is supposed to arrive tomorrow. But the Fi sim is still processing. Contacted the order support and said what good is the phone without the sim. He said you ordered the sim a couple of weeks later so the sim would be delayed. After closing the chat, I realized the difference in order dates...

I just got notification that my card was charged for the phone and my status in the google store has changed to "processing". Could it really be happening?

I started having the same problem this morning. When I woke up, phone was working. An hour later all I get is the four color circles dancing. Phone is 8 days old and not rooted.
