I am experiencing this same issue. Yesterday, July 27th, 2013, the MHL to HDMI worked flawlessly. Today, no audio from TV. Audio comes out of the phone. Very frustrating to think that software updates would create problems. So, I'm watching Orange is the New Black with the audio from the phone...
