    I hate this watch!!!

Mine is back at Samsung because it won't receive calls, goes straight to voice mail. ATT claims it is not a network issue as they have researched possible problems and there are none. I found Samsung very difficult to deal with on the issue. Of course, they claimed it was because I was using a...

Gear Circle with the Gear S

After a week of trying to keep the earpieces in I returned the Gear Circle. Between the big piece in the back and the relatively heavy earpieces they were constantly falling out and the clip was a nuisance and didn't help. I switched to the Bluebuds and was ready to ship them back but tried a...

My Gear S charging cradle doesn't fit anymore, had to send all to Samsung Support to resolve

I put my charger on my Gear S last night just before bed. The light came on the cradle, as always. When I got up this morning the watch was dead. Took the cradle off, put it back on, the blue light came on. Inserted the mini usb plug and the S started charging from zero. A couple of hours later...

Android Central review of the Gear S

I agree with most of what you say. But I do believe that all the nit picking in these reviews is designed to put a negative spin on the product being reviewed. Many of the nits derided on one product are either downplayed or ignored in reviews of similar products. Another thing I've noticed is...

Android Central review of the Gear S

I'm always surprised that people don't understand this basic fact of web sites and really, all media today: there is entertainment and there is propaganda. There is very little information. What information you do get results from sifting through the comments, looking for consistency and...

Android Central review of the Gear S

Here are a couple of things for you to consider because you are naïve. Tech sites get their money from advertising and advertising means eyeballs. Eyeballs are generated by tips, rumors and invitations to see and test new products. Apple is especially bad about freezing out reviewers who give...

Engadget: Samsung Gear S review: an ambitious and painfully flawed smartwatch

And yet at least one person here praises the "objectivity" of the reviewer.

Android Central review of the Gear S

You're kidding, right? Tech product reviewers on internet sites are known for their objectivity? Sorry, there goes your credibility. Even people who don't own the Gear S but have looked at it in best buy smell a rat. And its not just the Gear S. Its anything by Microsoft. On the Apple sites...

Using Gear S with Gear Circle and Bluetooth 3.0

I really liked the way the Gear Circle integrated with the phone and Gear S. I didn't like the way the earpiece fell out with just a little head movement. Tried the plastic retainer but didn't help enough to make it usable when walking. Back to the LG Tone.

Engadget: Samsung Gear S review: an ambitious and painfully flawed smartwatch

I'm not trying to be a **** (well.... maybe I am) but really? The software was the problem? Or was the user the problem? Oftentimes we blame the reviewers for producing an inaccurate review because they spin their personal bias against the device into the review. We shouldn't do it to ourselves.

Android Central review of the Gear S

It's odd that the reviews (Android Central, CNET, Engages) are negative, while most user comments are very positive. What makes the reviewer's comments suspect is the nature of the negativity. The Gear S doesn't work with every phone made, it doesn't do everything a smart phone will do, it...

My 12 day experience using a Gear S with Google Voice and a Moto 360 within reach

When Samsung says the Gear S is not designed to replace your phone, they're right. If you have a job where you need to have your phone to reply to messages and emails, take and make calls, use Google Maps, surf the web etc. etc. I don't think the Gear S is for you. Carry your phone and use the...

Android Central review of the Gear S

If leaving your phone home and still being able to make and receive calls is of little importance to you, then sure, the moto 360 is a very viable choice. Style will likely be the major deciding factor. But reviewing the Gear S and comparing it to another smart watch as if they are equivalent...

Android Central review of the Gear S

All those positives and yet the review comes across as massively negative. Funny how that works.

Android Central review of the Gear S

OK, if the Gear S isn't the "best in class", what is? See, yours is the kind of comment that annoys. As if there's a best in class out there we should all be buying instead of the Gear S. The fact that the Gear S is the ONLY watch with a stand alone phone make it the best in a class of 1...
