I am on Verizon and I have the same problem. I have set mine up multiple times. It works well for a couple of days then it slowly stops recognizing the prints. I have tried the thumbs and index fingers. Hopefully they will release an update soon.

Actually there should be a recall on the unit. A refurb would be acceptable for something that is a normal wear and tear problem. The SIM card failure is a known manufacturer defect. HTC is not owning up to it because they know they would be required to replace all the defective units. I...
