I don't know if it will help, but I have all my music in folders beneath a root folder called Albums. Never had a problem.

Which Music player are you using? If the stock Music application go to the Devices tab and see if you are communicationg (sharing) with any nearby devices such as PCs, TVs, DVD players, etc.

Swipe down to display notifications, then click the settings 'sprocket', select Lock Screen, then Additional Information, either turn off Additional Information or deselect Weather.
