LG Repair lost my LG G Watch. What now?

Hey all! I'd love to hear your input... On Monday, 10/12/2015, I received an RA number via email from LG to repair my LG G Watch which was still under warranty. On Wednesday, 10/14/2015, I boxed it up and shipped it using the prepaid FedEx shipping label that they provided. FedEx tracking...

Moto X - Looking for app to execute events triggered by an email

I'm looking for an application that will execute some predefined actions when an email is received from a specific contact. Specifically, when I receive an email from a specific email address, I would like to have my Moto X raise its volume to maximum and play a notification tone unique to that...

I was going to upgrade, but not anymore.

Frankly, I paid $199 through Verizon just over a month ago, and don't regret it at all--not one bit. I came from a DROID Bionic, and the difference is absolutely stunning with the Moto X shining in all comparisons. Yes, you can get it cheaper elsewhere, and yes, there are other models that may...

    Aviate or Cover.

I was skeptical about Aviate, but it seems to be much more reliable with regards to my location than the original release. While it is occasionally presumptuous, it's quick to correct it. For me, Aviate represents a nice, clean, fresh look and function to launchers. I've been using Nova...

Battery apps like Juice Defender and DS on Moto X - For or Against

If you are trying to eek out as much battery life as you can, then using something like Tasker or Juice Defender makes really good sense. You just have to compromise some functionality to do so. But that personal choice is what makes this phone (and similar phones) so desirable.

    Keyboard

I did the same. After the Droid Bionic, the Moto X is a completely new (and very positive) experience. My suggestion is to check out the free version of SwiftKey and see if you like it. The stock keyboard is excellent, but in my opinion, SwiftKey is far superior.

Battery apps like Juice Defender and DS on Moto X - For or Against

Here's the thing. Juice Defender (I use the Ultimate version to manage the battery on my DROID Bionic) works by turning WiFi and Mobile data off during idle periods. While this could provide even more battery life on the Moto X, features like touchless control and voice recognition will suddenly...

SwiftKey, for two main reasons: It provides a nice row of arrow keys The numbers are arranged in a standard keypad configuration, not just a row of numbers

    Moto X Case

At first, it also felt very unnatural for me. Maybe it's how I hold it, or maybe it's just the size of my hands, but it just didn't feel right. But what's strange is that after about a week and a half of using it, I find my index finger inadvertently finding and lodging into the dimple more and...

Xposed + App Settings = better calendar (root required)

I'm using the latest version of PwnMyMoto, and while it is an APK, it requires using ADB to install. Also, be VERY sure you get the version that is specific to your carrier.

Xposed + App Settings = better calendar (root required)

After I successfully rooted my moto X, the second app I installed was Xposed and then I installed the App Settings module. My reason for installing these was to tweak the DPI of a couple apps to enable "tablet" formatting. Primarily, I wanted to modify the Calendar app to display in the nice...

    Moto X Camera wrist flick

it works for me consistently when I do the motion like turning a doorknob back and forth twice. Simple and easy. Of course, YMMV.
