Thanks for the reply. Can't explain why, but it is no longer doing this. When I tap on a recorded video in Photos, it just plays normally now (no more arrows). Not sure why it was doing that yesterday.

Just the default video player. I believe the videos are .mp4 files, whatever it saves them as when you record a video with the phone's built-in camera.

Anyone know how to get rid of these double left/right arrows that overlay my videos? They show up on every video I play and are annoying. I can remove them by double-tapping after the video starts, but I shouldn't have to do that extra step for every video. See attachment.

Just checking - you *did* remove the protective plastic liner on the lens, right? I could see it degrading over time.

I'm having this same issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, and I have the built-in email app (looks like a white envelope with an '@' on it) set to retrieve email from my internet provider via POP3. It works fine. But even after I read a message, and it gets marked as "read" (it turns gray)...
