I have a tethering plan on my iphone & it works great. You just have to hook it up once and every time I turn on the tethering on the iphone & the nexus 7 is nearby it automatically makes the connection. Also the tethering plan is cheaper than the so called hot spot with a data plan. jimjoh:)
