Is it basically a choice? Have a film coating and be able to use the fingerprint sensor or tempered glass and not? Is the fingerprint same as S7 used for logging banking etc?

I keep getting captcha coming up and when I'm going to sites it warns me about I might have malicious software on my phone. I've got mcafee and that hasn't found anything. Is there a chance it is there and cant be found Are all AV software much the same?

Hope you don't mind me joining this thread but I am about to upgrade too and with the S7 edge I had tempered glass/plastic but only covered 90% of the phone the bits down the side of the screen weren't covered which was fine Is this the same with the S10 plus or does the tempered cover 100%...
