Your box runs mobile Android, not Android TV OS. Use Aptoide TV or sideload TV APKs. You can’t force Play Store to show TV apps without changing the OS.

use X-Plore File Manager on TV box. it has a Wi-Fi file sharing option. Just enter the IP on your window and access files easily.

I know Google TV and Shield are great, no doubt. But I’ve been using the gloriaForce RTX Duo, it has more ports, full Android, and better storage. Solid option for the price.

Try switching the decoder in Yogurt TV (HW ↔ SW)

Sounds like your TV is treating the hard drive like internal storage, which causes those folders and rescan issues. I had similar problems and switched to Appforce classic. it’s way more stable with external drives and doesn’t create random folders.
