FYI its typically not ROMs that are going to change your battery life much, sure you might get alittle more, but flash a undervolt kernel and then your going to see some real results. I dont bump change my phone, i dont charge with it powered off, i dont pray and do a voodoo dance before...

yepp it was said above, i think alot of people are putting too much thought into this, and i was guilty when the update dropped too, but just delete the facebook app in titanium backup, reboot, and install from the market.

Ive been running uncommon 1.1 and hydras undervolt kernel. Every once in a while i get alittle lag on typing, but battery life is awesome for the Dinc. Pretty easily getting a full day without problem.

i removed all that and had no problems. I suggest you try some roms though, they cut the bloat and in my experience make the whole phone snappier. If you like your stock sense, try uncommon sense, almost like the stock experience, just snappier and cuts the crap you dont need!

Are you using setcpu as well? I just flashed this kernel and so far it doesn't seem like much of an improvement.

just loaded it up, I just rooted a few days ago and this is my first rom. So far its awesome! very nice..although with how easy it was to do I may begin developing this sickness i have read of on here of constantly switching roms and stuff..i love android!

its facebook guys...as far as i know if your contacts are synced with facebook profiles it screws it up. It was really bugging me, ended up whiping my phone on 2.1 and when i reloaded my contacts and signed back into the facebook app i did NOT sync contacts. Havent had the problem in a good...

yepp its facebook, my contacts have been all messed up lately, however i did a hard reset, and DID NOT sync facebook contacts with my regular contacts and all is well..for now..

I agree with you totally! My battery was terrible, and because so many people say ATK is not needed i never installed it. Finally I gave it a try and I can get a solid 10-12 hours of moderate use now. Maybe everyone is doing something I dont know about but my battery life is nothing to...

Maybe im missing something?? All i know is with the task killer I get an easy 10-12 hours on a charge and proir i was getting like 6. Are you talking about setting -> applications -> running services?
