Turn Your Kindle Fire Into A Full Fledged Android Tablet

I haven't figured out the wallpaper thing yet either, as I was hoping to get it to stay like yourself. However, I was able to get Fancy Widgets on there by pulling it off my phone and then placing it on the Kindle (I did it by hooking both up to the PC by USB, but I would presume you could...

Seen this post over on XDA that will help you turn your Kindle Fire into a full Android Tablet experience using Go Launcher instead of the Amazon built in launcher. Testing this right now and it is working great!! Thanks to Bandage on XDA for finding this out...

Re: [ROM][WIP] CM7 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 10-05-2011 It could be that I missed a setting, but is anyone else having an issue with no sound recording with the camcorder on the latest build?

Yes you can set permissions in this ROM. If you go to Settings->CyanogenMod settings->Application->Permission Management(check this box). This turns on the permission management. Now if you go to Settings->Applications->Manage applications and choose the application in your list that you want...

Re: [ROM][WIP] Unofficial CM7 (Gingerbread) - 7/9/2011 Is there an issue with signal strength bars on cm7? When I use this vs reborn, this shows 1 to 2 bars versus reborn being full bars. However, when I look at phone status they both sit around 78db....any thoughts? Great ROM by the way!!

Not sure If this CM7 port is the same as others but if you go to Settings--CyanogenMod settings--Interface--Status bar tweaks--Battery percentage you will get the percentage to replace the battery icon. Hope this helps!

If using Wireless Tether for Root Users, there is the option in the settings of the app for reducing the transmit power. It is set to disabled by default, but allows you to reduce by either 5 dBm, 7 dBm, 10 dBm, 12 dBm, 13 dBm, 14 dBm or 15 dBm.

Netflix for Optimus S -PROJECT ON HOLD

MMS issue I just flashed the 5/31 build along with the gapps and sprint zips. Everything appears to be working great although I still don't seem to receive MMS messages. SMS comes through great but not MMS. I have tried both stock and GoSMS. Is receiving of MMS still a known issue? I was...

So are you saying the hotspot widget and/or quick settings will work with VD and TR 1.8 (when released)?

    SW Version LS670ZVD?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe wireless tether won't run on ThundeROM 1.7 as wireless tether requires a non stock kernel and TR 1.7 is running a stock kernel.

So I might have missed something when I upgraded to TR 1.7, just wanted to put that out there right away. After I went through the process of the LG Updater and flashing TR 1.7, my software version now says VC, but my baseband is still V9. My phone has been working great with great reception...
