OK, a factory reset fixed it. All good now. I think there was a problem on the initial setup using my 6P backup. I noticed not all of my Google Services for my account were completely syncing when I was checking the backup before I did the factory reset.

I've had a similar issue, and have been unable to use Tap to Pay. I've been going back and forth with the Wallet team. I decided to do a factory reset this afternoon, I will report whether Android Pay is fixed or not later.
As I will be using mine with Verizon, assuming you did not activate it with them and just put in a Verizon SIM, is there any limit of functionality, i.e. VoLTE, mobile hotspot, etc.

I can finally get a Nexus from Google and use on Verizon. I'm tired of waiting for security updates and software upgrades that never come. LG & Verizon drive me crazy.
