Lose communication with my phone...not my watch

I've done the things listed here and I do have wifi connectivity on my Urbane. The problem is that when I move away from my LG V10 and bluetooth is lost, I lose all communication with my watch even if I'm still connected to wifi. I thought the phone and watch were still supposed to be able to...

I've found that the Wi-Fi burns battery. I turned off the setting that continues to search for Wi-Fi when it's turned off. That seems to help.

In another topic, it was recommended to perform a hard reset ( all 3 buttons on the back of the phone) and it definitely helped the slow internet.

I hope Verizon is listening. I like OK Google from any screen. I'd like to have it back.

I have noticed that my phone lags when it gets warm. It requires either setting the phone down for a while or killing apps running in the background. It's very frustrating. Anyone have suggestions on how to keep the temp down?

I disabled the Support & Protection app and the problem had resolved. Nice that VzW knows how their unnecessary apps interact with REAL apps.

No joy on this issue. There is no consistent set of circumstances that cause this to happen. Very frustrating when your hands are wet and the music just stops. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I think I've resolved my issue with a FDR. Knock on wood, so far, so good. I didn't want to do it, but the pausing was driving me nuts! JJ
