Is there anyway to rotate the Eris screen the opposite way? In other words, having portrait view with the trackball on the left instead of right side.

I just tried this, and it worked. I stopped sync of contacts, removed and readded my CallerID pics (I only had a few), and now they are crystal clear.

Sounds like your using keyguarddisable? Have you installed it and maybe uninstalled it without turning it off (not even sure if that's possible).

I tried an app called KeyGuard Disabler. It bypasses the Verizon screen, but sadly it also bypasses the password slide lock.

Same thing I found out. I think Better Keyboard was designed prior to the Eris, as the default keyboard on the Eris seems "better". I played around with SlideKeyboard (not to be confused with SlideIt). It certainly has big keys, but I couldn't get the hang of it.

I downloaded and have been using on my Eris with no apparent problems. edit to grumble: Has anyone else noticed that all these "drawing" keyboards use blue. I'd sure like to see some Eris green.

Does anyone know how the default Photo Album on the Eris organizes pics? I created several different folders on the computer with the pics sorted alphabetically. All the folders show alphabetically in the Photo Album, but the pics in the folders are all out of order. Any ideas? Perhaps...
