Lower portion of back creaks
I noticed the creak on mine as well this past weekend. I push right on the Verizon logo and I hear it. Guess I might be able to warranty exchange it if it becomes a problem. -

File transfer to PC?
Fwiw, I'm running windows 8.1 developer preview at work and I installed the 64 bit drivers and rebooted my computer and my X was recognized immediately. I then transferred some files from my computer to my phone.
