I had the S8+ last year and ended up taking it back for random restarts on 2 phones. I didn't like the idea of curved edges then, and it was confirmed when I had the phone. The S9/S9+ feel a lot different to me for some reason, but one thing that keeps me from doing anything was the curved...

I personally do not like the edges. I purchased a S8+ when they came out. Was having issues with 2 different ones so eventually returned, but I did not like the edge. The edge is a big stumbling block for me. I want to like them but I just don't. I am thinking about getting a S9+ when they come...

So they can easily do it on a flat screen, I have a Galaxy Tab S tablet from 2014 that has has it on there from day 1. So the way they market it as part of the edge screen is a gimmick

So the part that bugs me is.....your not going to include any ear buds in the box?? So I'm paying a higher premium than Apple, for half the storage (128 vs 256 $949) and your not going to include any kind of ear buds. I like the phone and would like to consider it, but I won't pay $949 for the...

It's a samsung issue, see the threads about the S8+ doing this with brand new SD cards. After 1st one and replacment doing this to me, along with the random restarts I returned for refund. As far as I can tell it hasn't been fixed.

There is no fix. I got a launch S8+, same thing on two phones. Apparently people are still having this issue.... check out the samsung community board and it will see it as well.

yes, and that is what getting multiple phones doing the same thing after you return it for doing that. After the second one doing the same thing, I wasn't about to get a 3rd

This is just 1 site reporting this.... there are others, so you have all those people, plus the one's who arn't reporting on any forum

yes, see previous post. Both ATT, and after calling Samsung... went to the Samsung store in best buy

I did.... they said they couldn't find anything wrong, but flashed the software. He also stated he saw it a lot of his 'pages' but there was no solution yet. Since that was my second one doing it, I waited till day 12 to see if it got fixed with an update.... it didn't so I returned it. Going...

On Samsung community pages, people are calling and still getting techs "I have not heard of this".....uh huh. At this point Samsung may have lot me.... after my last 4 phones being Samsung the S8+ that I returned because of this issue will probably be the last

One moderator on there says he's trying to get it to the 'right' person..... made it sound like he's not taken seriously. When more protested about it another moderator said 'samsung is aware and working on it' so I'm not sure at this point what's going on...but it doesn't seem like it's being...

It's been 4 weeks so far with no update to fix this.....who knows when or if it will get fixed.
