I ordered my phone yesterday morning and I got a shipping notification this morning. It says it will be delivered Friday. My order said it would be about two weeks too.

I hope you're right since I have Friday off work. :-)

It worked. I was able to cancel the second phone. Thanks for the tip.

I brought that up with the Google customer service rep. They said that if you don't open the box and take it to the UPS Store you can still reject the package. Still a pain in the butt but they said I wouldn't be charged a restocking fee and they'd refund the original shipping.

That's what they told me to do but in the mean time they have almost $400 of my money because their website couldn't handle the demand.

I ended up with an extra phone but wasn't able to cancel using the link in the email or by calling customer service both of which happened within the hour. Kind of annoyed since it looks like they aren't shipping the phones out right away anyway so now I have to deal with returning the extra...

My first order errored out and was deleted from my cart so I kept trying til one went through so I ended up with two and was unable to cancel the second order. Frustrating but at least I got one I guess.

I canceled my pre-order. If my phone is going to be locked down by the carrier I might as well keep my iPhone and not renew my contract just yet. When/if AT&T changes their stance on the bootloader I'll reconsider buying the phone.

I was leaning toward gray until I saw the white in person. I think it'll be white for me.

The iPhone syncs with Google contacts and calendar so it should be quite easy.
