I installed today and am no longer able to text pictures. It tries sending for a few minutes and then gives a failure message. Hmmmm.

I updated my Verizon M8 to Lollipop today. I have tried several times to text pictures with the HTC messenger app and Google messenger. I get a message that says "sending" for several minutes and then a "message failed". Any ideas?

Re: Moto X Won't Power On I have tried everything mentioned and my phone will not keep a charge. It is currently connected to my PC with the stock charger and will not keep or hold a charge above 2%. Sadface. Any other pointers would be appreciated!!

I don't even get 4 hrs on screen time after installing the new Verizon update. I had amazing battery life before that. Nice work HTC.

I have the silver version and it had a couple small nicks in the back right out of the wrapper. I was ok with it when my phone was running balls to the wall awesome, but now that the new Verizon update has killed my battery life I am less than thrilled.

Yeah there probably isn't any way around me doing a reset. I'll try that and the battery logic reset. If that doesn't work I'm just going to take advantage of the 6mth free replacement due to screen breakage and have HTC send me a new phone for $30 after I spike this one on the pavement.

Yep I did that and CS walked me through a cache dump as well. No improvements unfortunately. - - - Updated - - - Same settings as well. It's really strange.

Mine was AMAZING before I installed the newest update 3 days ago. Now it's abysmal. It drops almost 1%/minute while using Chrome.

Re: Is there any lag on the M8? I had zero lag until I installed the new Verizon update. Now it lags like it has Touchwiz. Really disappointing.

re: Screen scratches really easily on the M8 My camera and flash lens cover scratched as well. The metal button from my coat pocket was the culprit. Definitely scratches easily.

I had this same problem starting at about day 10. Easy fix. Settings->Location services->access to location-> Off. This one change alone has made my battery life stellar. Posted via Android Central App

Thanks it's much better now. After doing some reading I went into settings and shut off "allow access to my location". My battery life is instantly better. Posted via Android Central App

My battery life has gone from fantastic, lasting me all day, to pretty terrible when I hit the 10 day mark. I am getting maybe a half day out of the battery now. Anyone else notice dramatically reduced battery life after a couple weeks? During normal internet browsing I can watch the battery %...
