Anyone choosing the G2 over the Note 3?

My choices were all centered on staying with Sprint, and tri-band LTE was a major consideration for me. If the Note 3 had this, it would likely have been my choice. I evaluated the HTC One Max, the Nexus 5 rumors, The LG G2 and the FCC approval of an upcoming triband Samsung GS4. Doing some...

    kit kat upgrade

After my experience with Motorola first promising an OS upgrade for my Photon, and then backing down on it, I don't have the highest expectations - if I get an upgrade on my G2 to Kit Kat, I will be grateful. If I really wanted Kit Kat right away (or even "ever"), I'd have waited for a Nexus 5...

Best Buy Pre-Order glitch Sprint LG G2 (white) - cancels because "not in stock"

I got a cancellation e-mail six minutes after the confirmation e-mail. The second person I spoke to on the phone at Best Buy confirmed that. The good news is that when I went to the brick and mortar store last night, everything went fine.

Today I tried pre-ordering a Sprint LG G2 from the Best Buy website (it's $100 cheaper than pre-ordering from sprint, for existing upgrade - don't ask me why this is, but it is - and then it is supposed to come with a $50 gift card as the equivalent of th sprint offer of a free window case)...

    Sprint's LG G2 Info Thread - Tri-Band LTE - Release October 25th - "One Up" Program.

Re: Sprint's LG G2 Info Thread-PREORDER OCT 11th, $199 on contract!!! I think Sprint wants to sell as much inventory as possible of existing phones to people who don't check on forums like this. In the meantime, I've been aware of tri-band coming since I started doing research when my Moto...

Leaving Sprint and the Photon behind

If you have one of the webtop dock options (I have a modified Atrix lapdock that I hardware-hacked to reverse the USB and HDMI connectors), you can still use it with wifi to so some light web surfing - unfortunately the webtop used a crippled version of Ubuntu that had issues. Using it as an...
