Found my own solution. I needed to activate the "steering wheel" icon on my phone, then go to the car to set up the phone, hit the select (the Kia 0000 code) & push the right button on the stereo to ping the phone, enter the code of 0000 on the phone & pairing was successful. Otherwise - no...

I have a 2012 Kia Soul and I am having issues pairing my Samsung Galaxy S5 with the car. I do not have UVO, just a standard factory satellite radio. I had the Galaxy s4 before and had no big issues. I have the little steering wheel icon "on". Any ideas?
