Yep, that's what I do as well when brightness hangs. I occasionally open the camera on error and that's when learned that trick. Even just turning off camera doesn't work. Must reopen and close it.

Yes, using most Good Lock components. The alarm icon is set to on in the Quick Panel settings. Weird.

Just realized since pie update my alarm icon doesn't show in the status bar. I've checked the settings, it is set to show, and I've moved the clock to left, center and right just to see if that affects it, but the alarm icon is a no-show. Not a huge problem, just something I noticed. Verizon...

Check your AOD settings. Pie offers always on, tap to show, or show on a schedule. By default it's set to tap to show.

Has anyone noticed that the option to change the S Voice wake up command to something other than "Hi Gear" is missing from Gear S3? I don't use S Voice often, but I thought there used to be another option between voice wakeup and language options?

You can use the app of your choice. I've used Textra since I got this phone with no issues. I've also tried others that work fine, but always come back to Textra lol.

That's a known issue. I just disabled slo mo in the pixel settings. Also, the S pen will snap a photo with it as well, just like stock camera.

My note is stock. One you follow the XDA link and set it up as defined, you'll have two camera apps. You can use either one without affecting the other.
