as far as i know you can download OTAs via wifi, thats how i did it. the phone wasn't in airplane mode. it just isn't an active line. so it still talks to sprint. IE "emercangy calls only" I'm assuming sprint can push the phone to download the OTA that way

ive been looking at the neo myself, how does the pedometer and heart rate monitor work on a device like the note 2 which doesn't have s-health?

Re: 4.3 update not taking i had this problem as well. it would reboot into my custom recovery which the update did not like, i had to flash the stock recovery which i got online but its been a while do i don't remember where. if i remember correctly i flashed it like a rom and wiped the phone...

im a huge fan of Lux auto brightness, has profiles for day night car and cinema and the night mode is synced with your locations sunset times. works with tasker plug ins also, works great for going full brightness on certain apps and auto when not.

are you referring to the battery percentage? I don't see any problems cause the phone is simply reading how much power is left in the battery. wheather it be 3100mAh, or 10,000mAh. however apps that predict battery life and such as gsam and battery widget reborn will take some time to...

just watched unpacked 2013. impressive stuff! most notably it was mentioned that the s3 and note 2 will receive updates in october to make it compatible with galaxy gear, which requires 4.3 for BT low energy (as far as i can tell)

yes its incredibly annoying. ive heard its due to low ram, but I'm no where near qualified to confirm that. i find if i force stop the app in the app settings menu and then restart my phone it helps.
