    I'm with you. I did everything you did above and could not do it either. I have a Note 9 which is totally paid off and don't want to go back to monthly payments, especially that high. I may hold out for the Note 20.

    I ended up swapping my Note 9 for another one. Now I can't get a lock on GPS in Waze unless I open Google Maps first, then open Waze.

    I've been having the same issues with my Samsung Note 9. GPS all over and car barely use Google maps or Waze.

    Ever since I got the last update, I have not been able to use Waze or google maps since my GPS is putting me all over the map and can not correctly identify my location and route. Anyone else having this issue? I have Verizon Wireless.

    I highly doubt you'll get a new one since that phone has not been manufactured for several years. most of likely you'll receive a refurb 5. Good luck!
