We're registered as a US merchant on Google... so it's not territorial. Try adding a card through your PC on Google Checkout then buying from your phone.

Did you have the old beta? That's what happens when it expires. To initiate the new paid version you need to run the wizard by pressing the the SwiftKey icon in your phone's main menu.

What email app are you using?
